What got you started in art?
I loved to draw with crayons as far back as I can remember. I think a lot of it also had to do with the fact that my dad is a graphic designer/illustrator.
What inspires you as an artist to be creative?
Music, movies, and personal experiences.
What are some of your achievements?
I won the first place award for the duCret Student Fine Art Show 2010.
How long have you been doing your art work?
I have only seriously been doing my art for the past 3 years now. Before that it was all just for fun.
Where do you see your self going in five years?
Hopefully I will be running my own studio teaching a group of serious artists, as well as painting for commission and galleries.
Something you've always wanted to do, but have yet to?
Bungie jump or something similarly crazy.
Favorite quote or quotes?
Not a direct quote, but: 'Who brings a knife to a gunfight?' It's like life, a lot of the time we think we know what's coming and are prepared. Then we find out that someone else is better prepared than ourself.
Another favorite quote: 'Do that, a lot.'
The moment you realized you were an artist?
Senior year of high school when I was figuring out what was going to happen next. It was basically, I don't want to do any of these other things, so I'm just going to keep drawing.
