What got you started in art?
I've always had the urge to create things since I was maybe two years old, when I first picked up a crayon. After getting used to drawing a little bit, I was fascinated by being able to create my own little world, cartoon characters, comics and what not. Now that I have a better understanding of how to convey my ideas to other people, one of the best feelings in the world to me is being able to feel like I almost fully express myself in a piece, and I feel that one of my goals in life is to figure out how to completely express myself to the world.
What inspires you as an artist to be creative?
I find my creativity through out every day, people, words, music, even little things like the way a shadow looks on a wall, or the split on the branch of a tree. I guess my inspiration just comes from whatever sticks out to me, apart from everything else, and maybe part of that is figuring out why it sticks out? I'm not entirely sure...
What are some of your achievements?
No medals or anything, but I'd say being where I am now with my talent is an achievement so far.
How long have you been doing your art work?
I only really started taking it seriously about 3 years ago, but I've been drawing ever since I picked up a crayon as a toddler.
Where do you see your self going in five years?
No idea, hopefully doing something I love.
Something you've always wanted to do, but have yet to?
Meet Alex Grey.
Favorite quote or quotes?
"Nobody puts baby in the corner."
The moment you realized you were an artist?
When I realized that drawing and doodling wasn't just something kids do when they're bored.
